These terms govern your use of privatenpm-com (the "Service"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation or continuing to use the Service after a new version of these terms takes effect, you agree to them on your own behalf and, where you act for an organization, on its behalf.
1. Accounts
- You must give accurate sign-up information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for everything done with your account.
- An organization is administered by its admins. Admins may add, remove and change the role of members, and may delete the organization together with its data.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other customers at risk.
2. Your content
- You keep every right to the content you and your organization store in the Service. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, back up, display and transmit it in order to provide the Service.
- You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for how your organization's members use it.
- We may remove content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- send unsolicited messages or distribute malware;
- probe, scan or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, or work around its limits;
- resell access to the Service without our written agreement.
4. Plans and payment
Plans, their limits and their prices are described on the pricing page. Fees are billed in advance for each billing period and are non-refundable unless the law says otherwise. We may change prices with at least thirty days' notice; the new price applies from your next billing period.
5. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and announce planned maintenance in advance where we can. The Service is provided "as is": we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Support is offered as described for your plan.
6. Data
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Organization admins can export their data and delete the organization at any time; individuals can export and delete their account from their profile.
7. Termination
You may close your account or delete your organization at any time. We may end the agreement with thirty days' notice, or immediately if you materially breach these terms. After termination we delete your data according to the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits or loss of data, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Each version carries an effective date. When a new version takes effect, you are asked to review and accept it the next time you open the Service; continued use afterwards means you accept it.
